Tipping Etiquette & Guide

First time on a guided tour? Tour guides are professionals in the service industry, the same as servers in a restaurant, hair stylists, drivers in a taxi, and valets. To remove the mystery and confusion which comes from not knowing when or how much to tip a tour guide, please allow us to suggest a tour guide tip guideline, totally discretionary of course and only if you have enjoyed your tour.

A recommended tip to your guide should be from $2 - $5 per person, depending on the length of your tour and your interaction with the tour guide. As always, tipping less or more based on your personal experience is completely acceptable.
