Meet Alice
As the City Walks founder, tour guide, and Director of Tour Development, Alice's love of history and long career in the travel and tourism industry naturally led her to St. Augustine 13 years ago. Originally from Virginia, she experienced numerous walking tours in Europe and the UK during her many years as a travel agent, and again as Staff at British Airways, Alice dreamed of bringing those entertaining and memorable experiences here to St. Augustine. With a focus on accurate history, her mission is to introduce our City's guests to the many interesting stories of the melting pot of cultures from over four centuries, which is St. Augustine.
Alice's other interests are Celtic and Ancient music, and exploring her Scottish heritage. When not working in some form at City Walks, you are likely to find her walking her two dogs, Ellie and Biscuit, around the City in the early or late hours of the day. |

Meet JJ
As a local, having spent all of his life between St. Augustine and Jacksonville, JJ has a unique historical view of the "oldest city" thanks to his grandfather.
History, tragedy and entertaining our wonderful city's guests has been part of his life since he was little. As a boy, he learned a lot by playing with literally all of the exhibits in his grandfather's local Museum, 'The US Tragedy and History Museum'. It was located next to the old Jail when he was a boy. He would sit and listen to his stories about St. Augustine for hours on end.
“I am proud to be part of St Augustine City Walks. There is no better way to see my home than journeying on foot through these 'old city' streets.”
When not at work with City Walks, you will find him with his family, at the beach, golfing, fishing or enjoying a local pub.
